Who We Are

You may have met us before, for the past 14 years we’ve been heading up Aintree Group, an industry leading accounting firm, named top of it’s class by accounting industry experts.

We are Shane and Andrea McKenna, yes, husband and wife, married for 19 years, despite building a wildly successful business together. Aintree Group began out of our dining room, literally, whilst we found office space suitable to accommodate what was then a small team of four people. Since then we’ve grown the team, the space and the business whilst still maintaining a terrific work life balance and bringing up two fabulous children. We’re also very keen travellers, and we make sure that we work to live an amazing life, not live to work!

It hasn’t been an easy road, but it’s been so rewarding, and it’s time we shared the “not so secrets” of our success with others.

Shane, frankly, is one of the best in the business, his clients would agree, there are very few people in the industry with the level of expertise, knowledge, practicality and connections that he has.

Andrea is the practical, no nonsense, ideas driven person with a head full of common sense, and as much as y

ou might think it’s crazy, common sense isn’t very common, and every growing business needs it!

Shane and Andrea team up with an incredible array of wildly experienced keynotes, who specialise in varied industries such as law, human resources, management, events and finance to bring the members of each plant: grow: reap. mentoring group unprecedented access to experts, advice and handholding as they grow into the next stage of their own personal goals.

Our team is all held together by Chelsea Carter, our Communications Coordinator and Social Media guru.

She has a degree in Professional Communication, and helps out with marketing, events and communication at both Plant: Grow: Reap and Aintree Group.

She’s also a professional Bollywood performer, very cool!
